The company pivoted to create an in-house live video shopping platform, challenging giants like Facebook Live and Amazon. Formerly focused on white-label apps for independent shop sales, the new platform, Marketplace, unifies content from diverse customer apps. As the sole designer, I led the end-to-end design process, from concept to successful launch.

Live shopping thrives on engagement, and our goal was to create a seamless, immersive Marketplace where independent sellers and their audiences felt at home. By owning the entire design process, we ensured consistency across every touchpoint.

User Insights & Behavioral Patterns
Users were hesitant to leave familiar apps, especially when integration issues led to missing content and a disjointed experience. Compared to larger platforms, features felt lacking. To win them over, we focused on stability, a frictionless shopping flow, and built-in communication tools that kept buyers and sellers connected in real time.

Design was laser-focused on bringing users an experience that revolved around the heart of it all: live shopping and seamless repeat purchases. The ultimate aim? To create an environment that not only sparks immediate comfort but also sparks a desire for more engagement, more exploration, and more repeat buys.
