As the lead designer for the mobile app's consumer experience, my initial focus was enhancing the onboarding process to facilitate guest users' shopping experience before account creation. The old onboarding process felt like a roadblock. Users struggled to shop as guests, and new features had to be integrated smoothly. The solution? A frictionless flow that made shopping intuitive from the start.

To make the mobile onboarding experience better, I wanted to figure out where we could make things smoother. I decided to do a heuristic analysis because it's something everyone, even those not deep into design, can get. Going through this analysis not only helped me spot areas for improvement but also got the product team on board with the changes we wanted to make for a friendlier user experience.
